This is a list of parts that I used ( more or less). You're probably smarter than me and can improve upon this. If so, please let me know about it and I'll update the info.
Plastic tool box from your favorite home center. Mine is a 19" model.
Broan exhaust fan model 688-J. It puts
out 50 CFM which should be enough for any small smoke testing job. I like
it because it fits in the box. NOTE: a stronger blower does little good
on most residential applications. If the odor is getting into the home,
so will the smoke. Too much fan and you'll be blowing smoke up the neighbor's
stack. Don't ask me how I know this, I just do, OK. ( I was just glad
the fire department had a sense of humor)
Smokeys: I prefer the 75 second burn but they also offer a 150 second burn version. One source is Johnstone Supply #H24-733, (buy several, you'll be hooked) Call 800-635-1001
